The CELIKO company was set up in 1982. As the first one in Poland it initiated the production of a full range of diet food - flour mixtures for people suffering from coeliac disease, and later also meant for other elimination diets.

1990 set the beginning of free market and also marked the starting point of company shaping in the new market reality. The company is constantly working up and implementing its own technologies, which resulted in the enlargement of existing assortment with new groups of finished products:

• granulated fruit tea drinks;
• cocoa instant products;
• granulated chicory coffee, natural coffee and mixtures of coffee;
• confectionery products;
• fruit-herbal tea drinks for infants and children.

At the beginning of 2003 a new technological line meant for drying food by using the sublimation method was activated. The line is one of the most modern devices in Europe. As the result of our desire to meet the demands and expectation of our clients, we made an effort to give our offered products the highest quality.

The guideline was the basis for making a decission concerning implementation of the System of Quality Management based on ISO standards and HACCP system of health assurance. In 1997 we introduced HACCP system in the diet department, and in 1999 we received the Quality Certificate consistent with the PN - EN ISO 9001 : 1996 requirement standards. We are now being implementing the HACCP system in the industrial plant. In Sempember 2002 our company went through the quality recertificational process receiving the Quality Certificate concordant with new PN - EN ISO 9001: 2001 standards.
